Concierge Auction Closes its 8th Year

indexFirm sets record prices, raises employee count, rolls out new technologies, and extends global reach as it redefines the smart way to purchase and sell the world’s finest homes

Concierge Auctions, the leading marketplace for smart buyers, sellers and representing agents of the world’s most elite real estate, capped off another banner year with $220 million in sales in 2015, including a number of record-setting transactions. Backed by game-changing technologies and one of the most valuable UHNW private client lists in the real estate sector, the firm continues to prove itself as a powerful force in redefining how the finest properties are purchased and sold.

“It’s been an invigorating journey to grow so consistently over the past eight years,” stated the firm’s president, Laura Brady. “Blazing new trails isn’t always easy, but our success is proof of the market’s need for our solution. As we near $1 billion in historic sales, with nearly a quarter of that achieved last year alone, it’s clear we’ve reached an inflection point.”

The firm’s notable domestic transactions in 2015 included the $12.3 million sale of Casa del Sol in Rancho Santa Fe, CA, a master-planned family compound located in one of the most affluent zip codes in the country; the $11 million sale of 1110 Waters Avenue in Aspen, CO, a handcrafted custom residence which sold in advance of the scheduled auction date; the $10.7 million sale of 3580 Anini Road in Kilauea, HI, a stunning oceanfront estate on the world-renowned North Shore of Kauai; and the $10.2 million sale of Splendida Dimora in Vero Beach, FL, a 16,120-square-foot compound overlooking more than 155 feet of private beach frontage.

Internationally, Concierge made a strong impression with multiple sales in Canada, Mexico and the Bahamas and will expand its overseas presence even further in Q1 2016, with auctions scheduled in Anguilla, Fiji, France, Jamaica and Puerto Rico.

“We continue to be thankful to our employees, clients, and real estate partners for our growth and success,” stated Chairman Chad Roffers. “It has been especially rewarding to expand our relationships within the real estate community. Laura and I were both real estate professionals before starting Concierge Auctions, and we experienced first-hand the limitations of traditional efforts alone. One of the key tenants when founding this firm was to give control back to agents and their sellers. For this reason, in the history of our company, we have never conducted an auction without a listing agent involved and a commission offered to a buyer’s agent. The results are simply better through our collaboration with the Realtor community.”

Other 2015 highlights for Concierge Auctions included expansion from 27 to 32 US states and from 5 to 10 countries; employee growth from 28 to 63; an increase in the firm’s unrivaled number of global contacts from 200,000 to 300,000; the receipt of 13 awards from USA Today and the National Auctioneers Association, including the coveted “Best in Show” award for Advertising and Public Relations; selection of Brady as one of “The 101 Most Influential People in Real Estate” by Inman News; and a move up Inc. Magazine’s list of fastest-growing private companies — from #3922 to 2014 to #1826 in 2015.
