Turf Design has released its newest collection, the Arbor canopy baffle system – an ingenious new acoustic solution that displays the company’s exceptional eye for design. Through research and development that showed a desire for further developed sound-absorbing systems, Turf has created a fully customizable ceiling system that works in a smart, simple way— attaching to standard T-grids.
Arbor’s special, continuous connections between baffles allow for a clean and smooth appearance to accompany the system’s impressive sound absorption. Offering limitless customization with staggered or full-coverage module options, the canopy system works with and around structures, complementing the placement of existing lights and other ceiling fixtures. With these custom options and its generous sound absorption, Arbor epitomizes Terf’s approach to acoustics— an innovative product offering, backed by smart engineering, that further enhances any specifier’s toolkit.

“Arbor distinguishes itself from our other models thanks to its innovative continuous connections,” says Rob Perri, President of Turf Design. “Through our engineering team’s research and development, and as a direct response to market needs, we’ve extended our abilities to create a ceiling system that, with customization, covers spaces with stunning, sound-absorbing aesthetic appeal.”
The Arbor canopy baffle system attaches to low-cost infrastructure, a standard 15/16” T-Grid, with options of two profile widths and no additional hardware necessary. It is available as a module – four baffles that are 16”x120” – or individual baffles with a maximum length of 120”. The modules are linked by intermittent felt Gridlock crossbars that run 16” to provide flawless connectivity. The Gridlock connection also enables baffles or modules to be placed in staggered formations across the ceiling for greater visual interest, while maintaining acoustic performance.
