The doors are open to the new global flagship showroom for Australian lifestyle brand Harbour. Covering 8,000 square feet at the corner of East 27th Street and Madison Avenue, the ground-floor space, with its sweeping, wraparound windows, offers an immersion into the contemporary, coastal and cosmopolitan vibe for which the brand has become known.

Filling the space are Harbour’s indoor and outdoor collections — the newest pieces, including the fully-upholstered Como, Gio, and Cove, and established favorites alike — curated and designed by co-founders Nicholas and Harrison Condos, who first brought their family business from Sydney to Manhattan in 2009.
“Our designs have always been inspired by some of the world’s most iconic coastal locations, an ode to our own Australian upbringing and love for travel,” shares Nicholas Condos, cofounder and lead designer for Harbour. “It’s this authenticity and charm that… allows us to continually evolve our collections to redefine outdoor luxury.”

Echoing its coastal appeal, throughout Harbour’s collections are element-defying, performance-based outdoor fabrics and other durable materials, including recycled powder-coated aluminum and sustainably sourced premium teak. In addition to the lines designed in-house, the brand has partnered with established interior designers on collections as well, including MLB Teak and Aluminum with Martyn Lawrence Bullard and Formentera with Chicago-based designer Kara Mann.

The new Madison Avenue location marks a milestone for the brand, which dates its origins to a Sydney workshop circa 1976. Harbour’s flagship joins a growing roster of global locations that includes Miami, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Houston in the states, and in Sydney, Hong Kong, and Korea as well. It is open to both the design trade and to consumers.
