STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN
Design: Anders Höglund

“This month’s visual of a winding staircase reminds me that progress isn’t linear,” writes Amy Sneider in her Editor’s Letter. “It’s a climb, full of twists and turns, where every step offers a new perspective. In design, as in life, contrast drives everything forward. Bright whites meet deep blacks, vibrant bursts soften against muted tones, and somehow, it all works.”

DALLAS, TX

On the Cover: For Dallas-based designer Ginger Curtis, it’s the blend of innovation and comfort that produce the masterful interiors inside this midcentury modern stunner

“Our client is an art collector, so we kept that in mind while sourcing furniture. We chose a neutral palette that doesn’t fight with her brighter pieces of art, and the warm, white walls are a perfect backdrop. The antique church pew and brutalist chair ground her gorgeous gallery wall, and the vintage sconce adds dimension and interest.”

MINNESOTA
Design: Benigno Aguilar

For a collected, vintage industrial vibe, this dining space marries vintage Thonet and Eames chairs with a 13-foot iron dining table, where a collection of Tamegroute spoons creates a unique centerpiece. Period medical cabinets flank an enduring, lacquered iron etagere, and a Hotwave radiator warms the space with modern architectural sensibility. Vintage cast-aluminum hanging lights tie the space together.
