Bolt Farm Treehouse also features several spa treatments, including custom massages, body treatments, facials and couples massages, and the recently debuted LVV Couples Spa and Wellness Haven. Guests at Bolt Farm Treehouse can also indulge in a variety of immersive outdoor activities, from tranquil mountaintop yoga sessions to exhilarating kayaking adventures, offering a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure amidst the beauty of nature.
From the Designer | A chance meeting that turned into a mentorship with Rick Riess, the legendary force behind Montage Hotels, changed the way I think about hospitality. He showed me that true excellence is not just about design or service. It’s about leadership, vision and creating a sense of place that stays with people long after they leave. He helped me see that unforgettable experiences are never a coincidence. They come from intentional choices, operational discipline and a deep commitment to meaning. That perspective pushed me to build Bolt Farm as more than a retreat. It is a destination designed to move people. A place that feels magnetic, timeless, and filled with purpose.
We design every space at Bolt Farm with that connection in mind. Nature is the star of the show, and architecture should frame it, not block it. When you wake up to a view that takes your breath away or fall asleep listening to the ocean or the wind in the trees, you feel more alive and more human.
One of the most impactful creative influences for me is Roth, the visionary behind Azulik in Tulum. His work is daring, creative, and experiential in a way that leaves a lasting impression. At Bolt Farm, we’ve taken inspiration from Roth’s ability to fuse nature, art, and architecture into a single cohesive story. We aim to create spaces that aren’t just beautiful, but iconic. Spaces that awaken something in you. Just like Azulik, we want guests to walk in and feel like they’ve entered a dream they didn’t know they had. Roth reminded me that the boldest ideas are often the ones that endure.
As the visionary co-founder of Bolt Farm Treehouse and a founding member of the Grammy-nominated band NEEDTOBREATHE, Seth Bolt masterfully blends his artistic talents with environmental passion. Bolt Farm Treehouse originated from Seth’s desire to create a unique honeymoon retreat in South Carolina. His profound love for nature, dedication to hospitality, and commitment to sustainable living are core to the treehouse’s ethos. Recently, Seth received the Icon of Culture Award from the Independent Lodging Congress, recognizing his significant influence and unique contributions to independent hospitality. His vision sets a new benchmark for luxury, eco-conscious lodging.
