The Newbury Boston
BOSTON, MA
Architecture: CBT Architects
Design: Alexandra Champalimaud Design
The Newbury Boston is a luxury hotel located in the heart of Boston’s Back Bay, at the intersection of Newbury and Arlington Streets. Originally opened in 1927 as one of the first Ritz-Carlton hotels in the U.S., it has been meticulously restored and reopened in May 2021 as The Newbury Boston.

The hotel features 286 elegantly appointed guestrooms and suites, including 90 luxury suites, many with wood-burning fireplaces and views of the Public Garden. Interiors by Alexandra Champalimaud Design incorporate calming color palettes, handcrafted woods and marble accents.

Dining options include Contessa, a rooftop Italian restaurant by Major Food Group offering panoramic city views, and The Street Bar, serving classic New England fare. Guests can also enjoy The Library, an exclusive lounge curated by the Boston Public Library.
With its blend of historic charm and modern luxury, The Newbury Boston offers an unparalleled experience in one of the city’s most desirable locations.
