Winter in Paris has a particular rhythm. The city slows just enough to let ideas surface, conversations deepen, and new collections speak for themselves. Anchored by Paris Deco Off, this season marks a natural moment to pause, take stock, and look closely at what designers and brands are choosing to introduce now and why.

For this first quarterly edition of Anatomy of a Design, the focus shifts from weekly discovery to a curated seasonal round-up, centered on Paris launches tied to Deco Off and the broader design ecosystem surrounding it. The result is a clearer view of how product, place, and cultural context intersect during one of the most meaningful moments on the international design calendar.

This winter edition highlights 7 brands whose recent Paris presentations feel especially attuned to Deco Off’s spirit, alongside 2 honorary inspirations that ground the season in history, craftsmanship, and enduring influence.

The Vale London x Andrea Schumacher
Presented during Paris Deco Off within the Fabricut showroom, The Liesl Collection forms part of The Vale London’s 2026 collections and reflects a deeply personal collaboration rooted in art, lineage, and European modernism. Inspired by the work of Andrea Schumacher’s grandmother, artist Elizabeth “Liesl” Monath, the collection translates woodblock prints and midcentury abstraction into wallcoverings that feel both expressive and architectural. With references spanning Vienna, Paris, and New York, the collection aligns naturally with Deco Off’s emphasis on artistry, heritage, and material storytelling.

Kendall Wilkinson x Iatesta Studio
Timed to the energy surrounding Paris Deco Off, Kendall Wilkinson’s collaboration with Iatesta Studio was introduced in Paris through a preview of the first lighting pieces from the collection. Presented within the Atelier+Spa experience in Saint Germain, the initial designs offered an early look at sculptural forms, antique finishes, and meticulous craftsmanship. The broader collection is set to launch this Spring, with Paris serving as a considered and intentional first reveal.

Meghan Jay x Isidore Leroy
My Home by the Sea launched in Paris as a natural part of the Deco Off landscape, bridging American coastal memory with French wallpaper savoir faire. Drawing from Meghan Jay’s New England upbringing, the collection balances painterly cabana stripes, Nantucket basketweaves, and atmospheric gradients with Isidore Leroy’s long history of panoramic wallcoverings. The collection feels particularly at home during Deco Off, where surface design, nuance, and narrative take center stage.

Perennials – La Dolce Vita Collection
Rooted in the spirit of the Italian seaside, this vibrant collection of fabrics, rugs, and wallcoverings reflects long, languid afternoons, glowing textures, and the art of savoring everyday moments. Each pattern is a mix of playfulness and refinement, capturing an enduring sense of joy, elegance, and ease.

Clarence House – La Rêverie
La Rêverie is a collection shaped by quiet reflection, capturing the softness of memory and daydreams through botanicals, florals, and globally inspired motifs — from whimsical butterflies and luminous dahlias to Asian influences and the restrained poetry of sumi-e. Complementary indoor/outdoor performance textiles echo the palette and spirit of the collection, allowing it to transition seamlessly between interior and exterior spaces with beauty and durability.

Samuel & Sons – The Romaunt Collection by And Objects co-founders Martin Brudnizki and Nicholas Jeans
Inspired by the romanticism and artistry of the Pre-Raphaelites, the Romaunt Collection by And Objects co-founders Martin Brudnizki and Nicholas Jeanes translates a painterly narrative into exquisitely expressive fringes, tassels, borders, and rosettes. A richly layered palette and intricate handwork define 10 new styles, conceived with a masterful approach to color and ornament.

LaLa Curio
LALA CURIO’s latest debut is a capsule collection created in partnership with the AAPI Design Alliance. The collaboration was born from a shared belief in the beauty of reconnecting with one’s roots while engaging the world through a broader cultural perspective, and in the magic that emerges through true creative partnership. United by heritage yet distinct in expression, the collection celebrates the ancestral roots of Asia interpreted through contemporary craftsmanship, elevating traditional narratives into tactile, material-driven works of art.

Honorary Inspirations Beyond Deco Off

Château des Joncherets | Design Preview
Just beyond Paris, the Design Preview at Château des Joncherets offered a powerful counterpoint to the energy of Deco Off. The unveiling of the château’s newly renovated ground floor marked the culmination of an 18-month collaboration involving designers, artisans, and partners from across disciplines. Originally built in 1620, the château now stands as a living example of how historical architecture can inform contemporary design thinking, a reminder that Deco Off’s conversations extend well beyond the city itself.

Musée des Arts Décoratifs | 100 Years of Art Deco
Coinciding with the Deco Off season, the Musée des Arts Décoratifs’ exhibition celebrating 100 years of Art Deco provides essential context. The exhibition traces how geometry, proportion, and ornament continue to shape modern design language. For those moving through Paris during Deco Off, it serves as a grounding reminder that today’s launches are part of a much longer decorative lineage.
