Joanna Kulczyńska | Kulczyński Architekt
Warsaw, Poland
PROJECT DETAILS: This bathroom was designed as an intimate retreat, a calm, natural space with a skylight above the tub that lets in generous daylight. The raw fieldstone tiles and the wooden tub nod to rural simplicity, evoking memories of old courtyards. One can soak and look up at the sky, surrounded by textures that feel both grounding and serene. This bath palette was inspired by the natural materials themselves: stone, wood, water. These tones create a sense of calm and quiet, inviting the user to slow down and reconnect with themselves. SOURCES: Beczka Polska bathtub; Axor Massaud faucet; Beltrami natural fieldstone; raw timber ceiling boards; custom-designed doors.
