Concept:

“The den was designed to be a soothing getaway space. Away from the large, bright open spaces of the kitchen and dining area this room is perfect for sneaking away to read a book or relax. The floral pattern wallcovering in bright greens and neutrals brings the soothing qualities of nature in while the dark ceiling adds warmth and coziness to the room.”
Final Design:
Lending to the theme of nature in the den is the natural and bulbous composition of the chandelier, designed by American Brass & Crystal.
“I think that was the one thing that really attracted me to this piece and I feel like it’s a perfect fit for this space, having those organic natural free-form lines,” says Cabelis. “And of course the warm light that comes off it is very soothing as well.”
