The Garden room is designed as a perfect hideaway for daydreaming and escape. A space where one can get lost in a novel while lounging on the roomy sofa with curved lines and soft textures, playing an instrument, or listening to the music of birds chirping outdoors.
The walls, furniture, fixtures, and greenery bring the natural environment indoors to the home, making it a welcome all-season room to be sought out whether the sun is streaming in through the windows and open door, or it is a rainy or snowy day.
The wall-size mural of a modern Chinoiserie motif, a tree blooming with birds, fruit and flowers, provides a serene backdrop and focal point for the garden room. Facing the mural on the opposite side of the room is an upholstered swing suspended from the sky-blue ceiling, inviting inspiration.
Daria’s creative approach to interior design has been influenced by her global travel, academic training, and ex- tensive professional experience. She has developed a keen eye for detail and takes into account the importance of and relationships between comfort, aesthetics and practicality in each interior she designs.
