Nine reasons to fall in love with Denmark.
The Bruuns live with their two children in a prodigious apartment in Osterbro, one of the 10 official districts of Copenhagen, Denmark, as well as one of the greenest. With its posh, yet down-toearth style, their space reflects the cheerful attitude and comeliness of Ivona, a former fashion model.
In general, the style is relaxed and unpretentious, thanks to aged-oak floors, white walls, and many pieces of Danish design classics by Poul Kjaerholm and Hans Wegner; furthermore, the mullioned windows provide a marvelous view of the neighborhood’s park and allow light to flood throughout their home.
The apartment’s nine rooms are furnished in a casual and buoyant style. Their daughter’s room exudes a romantic and feminine feel with a minimalist design, while their son’s room reflects a Nordic mood and his hobbies.
