The stark contrast between the deep blue shade of the island and the large fixtures in this kitchen serves to anchor the entire design and gives a fresh, boho vibe
Andrew Joseph: You’re the newest Crayola color. What color are you and why?
Noelle Isbell: Bronze. It’s a bold neutral color, complementary to almost everything and offers a layer of richness. It’s metallic in tone, offering interesting depth.
AJ: What is something you hope to see trending in design in the future?
NI: Art Deco Revival! Exotic materials paired with curvaceous shapes, and dramatic textures.
AJ: What’s a guilty pleasure you have?
NI: Traveling. Everything about traveling inspires me. Even the journey to get there, so I make sure to make every part of the process fun when it comes to a holiday.

Featuring bamboo chairs, a Jacqueline 2-tier chandelier from Aerin, and a predominantly white and blue color scheme, this room is a perfect reflection of a haven on the beach.
AJ: What’s the best thing that happened to you this month?
NI: Not only did I have my birthday celebration, but my team and I celebrated at our Holiday Party! The theme was “Diamonds & Design,” the showroom was filled with disco balls, live music, and a fabulous crowd of people – including a local jeweler that “frosted” me and a handful of my friends!
AJ: What might the design world look like in 10 years?
NI: I can’t locate my crystal ball but if I had to say I would guess that textiles, finishes, and fixtures would be more streamlined. Life is busy and complicated and I don’t see it becoming less so. Keeping our surroundings serene and simple paves the way for peace.
AJ: If you had one more hour in the day what would you do with it?
NI: Learn another language.

As you step into this room, your eyes are immediately drawn to the stunning beige Picasso marble that seemingly floats over the contemporary fireplace. Large windows flood the space with natural light, highlighting the simplicity of the decor and accentuating the natural beauty of the outdoors.
AJ: What’s inspiring you in life (in the industry) right now?
NI: Lighting! It’s a key component to making the designs we create sing and come to life! It’s important to remember lighting is about illuminating walls and objects, not the floor.
AJ: What about your design style has shifted post-quarantine?
NI: Surprisingly, as much as we love neutral colors in our showroom, we have incorporated more black and warmer tones! It creates great contrast with the products we offer and allows our clients to have more variety to choose from. We have also added an influx of coffee table books in our showroom and we love styling with them!
