Interior Designer Preview Day Returning For January Edition Of Lightovation

Lightovation, the largest residential lighting trade event in North America, has announced the return of the popular Interior Designer Preview Day, taking place on Tuesday, January 9. The event is designed to provide the design community with an exclusive sneak peek at Lightovation, which takes place January 10-14, including a trend tour, an expert panel on technology, and the world premiere of the first-ever Metaverse Lighting TrendHouse.

Lightovation is the largest residential lighting trade event in North America, and features more than 250 exhibitors showcasing the top lighting brands in the U.S. including Minka Group, Hudson Valley Lighting, Kuzco, Varaluz, Sonneman: A Way of Light, Z-Lite, Maxim, Progress Lighting, Eurofase, Hubbardton Forge, Elk Lighting, Crystorama, Savoy House, Fine Art Handcrafted Lighting, WAC, Quorum International, Hinkley, and Elegant Furniture & Lighting, as well as ceiling fan companies including Fanimation, Matthews Fan Co., Hunter Fan Co., and Big Ass Fans. Dozens of showrooms will be open for Designer Preview Day, and many will offer exclusive hospitality and receptions.

The world premiere of the first-ever Metaverse Lighting TrendHouse, set to take place at the January show, is a groundbreaking initiative that represents a leap forward in the realm of residential design and lighting by offering an immersive 3D experience for the industry. The TrendHouse will be able to be viewed both as a 3D virtual walkthrough individual experience or via the metaverse where people can explore together. Lightovation attendees will explore spaces wearing a virtual reality headset or by their desktop, tablet, or mobile phone.

“We are delighted to, once again, welcome the design community to enjoy a unique day of events,” said Cindy Morris, President, and CEO of Dallas Market Center. “Interior Designer Preview Day allows designers to not only experience what’s in the world of lighting and hear from industry experts, but to be the first attendees to view the world-premiere of the Metaverse Lighting TrendHouse.”
