A good night’s sleep is non-negotiable — and so is a set of sumptuous bed sheets. With so many options available, finding one that ticks off all the boxes can feel overwhelming. Fortunately, ettitude’s Luxe collection eases the search by delivering a thoughtful mix of style, softness, and sustainability.
Eco-friendliness has been a core part of the brand’s process — from sourcing to shipping — since its inception in 2014. At the heart of the B Corp company is its signature CleanBamboo®, a proprietary bamboo lyocell fiber that uses non-toxic, food-grade solvents. In addition to being FSC- and OEKO-TEX Standard 100-certified — Class I-baby safe, to be specific — the material is made in a closed-loop system that recycles 98 percent of water and solvent to minimize waste and environmental impact. For its Luxe Bamboo Sateen Sheet Set and Duvet Cover, ettitude reimagines its CleanBamboo fiber into a refined PLNTsilkTM fabric, which has an elevated feel and finish. “We wanted to create a premium offering that rivaled the silky feel and sheen of high-end fabrics like silk, but it’s crafted entirely from plant-based materials in Peru,” explains Kat Dey, co-founder and president of ettitude.
The collection’s PLNTsilk is made with 90 percent CleanBamboo lyocell and 10 percent organic bamboo biochar, which adds antimicrobial, anti-odor, and antifungal properties to the fabric, allowing sheets to stay fresher for longer. “Each piece is thoughtfully designed with details like deep pockets, reinforced binding in the fitted sheet and wider elastic to ensure long-lasting quality and comfort,” Dey adds. Available in a handful of colorways ranging from a crisp white Cloud to an earthy green called Fern, ettitude’s Luxe Bamboo bedding is both timeless and grounded.
The entire collection is lovingly manufactured at a family-owned mill in Peru, so it upholds ettitude’s sustainable and ethical practices — with an elegant, elevated edge. It’s that mix of quality and eco-consciousness that makes ettitude’s Luxe Collection not just a customer favorite, but a top choice for interior designers, too.
“We are intentional about selecting partners who reflect our values,” says Natalie Ellis, senior vice president of interior design at Denton House Design Studio. “ettitude’s bamboo bedding delivers the kind of breathable comfort and effortless luxury that our clients value — particularly in coastal locations like Hawaii and Cabo.” Elizabeth Craig of ecc Interiors agrees and says ettitude’s bedding provides “a softness similar to silk combined with linen’s breathability.” “Its moisture-wicking properties make it ideal for both hot and cold sleepers,” adds the New York-based designer. “While bamboo is organically grown and doesn’t require pesticides, it’s essential to choose bedding made from bamboo processed using eco-friendly methods, like lyocell.”
Though bamboo sheets might be at the core of the Luxe Collection, ettitude also introduces texture with its Luxe Bamboo Bouclé Towels, Luxe Bamboo Rugs, and Luxe Bamboo Striped Herringbone Throws. Each piece is handwoven by skilled artisans in Peru on traditional looms, highlighting both cultural heritage and craftsmanship. “Customers adore their rich, tactile feel and timeless design,” Dey adds. “Pieces that bring warmth, depth, and softness to everyday living.”
With a myriad of elegant, eco-conscious layers, ettitude proves that sophistication and sustainability aren’t at odds. Rather, the two can (and should) go hand in hand. “It’s not just about how something feels, but how it’s made: ethically, sustainably, and with care for both people and the planet,” Dey says. “Every purchase helps support a cleaner, more conscious textile future.”
