Over 250 vendors are set to take the Hudson Valley by storm at this year’s Field + Supply Fall MRKT, October 9-11. Before the festivities begin at Hutton Brickyards, take a look at a few of the fine furniture makers you can expect to see at this year’s market.
Sawkille Co.
Co-owners Jonah Meyer and Tara DeLisio are, respectively, designer and creative director of this handcrafted furniture company based in beautiful Rhinebeck, New York. Meyer’s background in fine art painting and sculpture complements his appreciation of the practical aspects of furniture design, while DeLisio moved from early studies of biology into entrepreneurship, helping Meyer’s designs reach ever-more-appreciative echelons of collectors around the world.

Don’t let the name fool you; this Hudson Valley-based brand also makes big goods, including chairs, tables, stools and benches.
Dean Babin Furniture
Poughkeepsie, New York-based Dean Babin started in furniture restoration before pursuing classical training at the Center for Furniture Craftsmanship’s comprehensive program in Maine. Following several stints under fine furniture makers in Maine and New York, he opened his own studio, where he creates custom furniture, home goods and tableware using traditional joinery techniques.
FN Furniture
FN Furniture was established in September 2017 with the goal of using 99% of each standard sheet of plywood (or weatherproof HDPE) to make furniture, so the parts nest together like a puzzle. The result is a line of zero-waste, durable furnishings designed and made in the Hudson Valley.
Parker Burkhart
Husband and wife Chaffee Burkhart Graham and Lillie Parker Graham helm Parker Burkhart, bringing design and sustainability together to build highly crafted heirloom furniture. Rooted in classic American woodworking traditions, each of their pieces is handmade in their Maine workshop.
Seven Cedars NY
Husband and wife team William Duke Larson and Dylan Abrams create homewares that emphasize uniqueness and character, as well as offering found items with rich history. Many of their small-batch, hand-crafted items are burnt in the Japanese style of yakisugi, creating a black patina and preserving the wood from decay.
Randall Leazer Design
Using a blend of handwork and machinery, Randall Leazer creates sustainable, custom furniture pieces. The resulting works are built to last and free of trending influences.
For this market, Field + Supply is partnering with United Way of Ulster County to support the HELPS Fund, which provides emergency assistance to local families facing unexpected crises. A one-of-a-kind community quilt, hand-stitched from squares decorated by Field + Supply attendees at last fall’s MRKT, will be on display at this year’s event and auctioned online.
