GETTING THERE

By plane, car or train. You can get to the Show House by any means of transportation. Here’s some information about all the available options to help you decide which type of transportation is best for you.

Location

The Fisher Mansion is located at 670 West Boston Boulevard is the largest home in the Historic Boston Edison neighborhood in the heart of Detroit. This 18,000 square foot estate was built in 1922 by architect George D. Mason for Charles and Sarah Fisher.

Car

FROM DOWNTOWN: Take M-10 North to Exit 5C Hamilton Ave/Chicago Blvd, continue straight onto Hamilton Ave. Turn Right on Boston Blvd, continue through 3rd and 2nd st, make a U-turn and arrive at Designers’ Show House

FROM THE NORTHWEST: Take M-10 South to Exit 5C for Chicago Blvd. Keep Left onto Chicago Blvd. Turn Left onto 2nd street. Turn Right unto Boston Blvd, make a U-turn and arrive at Designers’ Show House

FROM THE NORTH: Take I-75 South to Exit 55 for Caniff St/Hollobrook Ave. Turn Right onto Caniff St. Turn Left on Oakland Ave. Turn Right on Boston Blvd on continue to Designers’ Show House

FROM THE WEST: Take I-94 East to M-10 North. Take Exit 5C Hamilton Ave/Chicago Blvd, continue straight onto Hamilton Ave. Turn Right on Boston Blvd, continue through 3rd and 2nd st, make a U-turn and arrive at Designers’ Show House.

FROM THE EAST: Take I-94 West to M-10 North. Take Exit 5C Hamilton Ave/Chicago Blvd, continue straight onto Hamilton Ave. Turn Right on Boston Blvd, continue through 3rd and 2nd st, make a U-turn and arrive at Designers’ Show House.

Plane

Detroit’s Metropolitan Airport is just minutes from this years show house. The show house can also be reached by other regional airports such as Bishop International Airport, Capital Regional International Airport and Toledo Express International Airport. 

Train

The show house can be accessed via Amtrak train or the QLINE, a 6.6 mile circulating streetcar loop serving 12 locations throughout the city of Detroit.
