Fulya Can is an internationally recognized residential and commercial interior designer. Her background in fashion and travel to exotic destinations has helped her eye for design. Running her own business, ​Designs by Fulya, Can has experience with a variety of management skills​. ​Currently, Fulya works out of her own showroom​, Lazzoni in Paramus, ​where she has a beautiful line of modern luxury furniture. This is where her mastery in interior design is showcased through her various roles including communications, public relations, showroom management, head design and the creation/execution of projects. Above all else, Fulya maintains a high level of passion and energy toward her work, ultimately producing a creative and effective work environment.

Project Design Vision:

Title – “Del Mar”

“She loves the ocean and the waves and so many other things that have a soul”

Del Mar beach was my biggest inspiration for this project. I love the ocean and see such beauty in it. The ocean reflects so many moods happy, sad, angry, moody. It has such character and depth, It has a soul of its own. This is where my inspiration came in. I was at the beach and there were such beautiful shades of blue. Yet the shades kept changing with the sunlight and wind. This caused it to become gray and then the rain starts falling it was dark and dim. I knew from that moment that “Del Mar” was my biggest inspiration behind this project.
