Toronto’s dynamic metropolis will offer a new reason to visit this summer.
Hotel X Toronto will hold the honor of being the only hotel on the historic grounds of Exhibition Place, a mecca for everything from sports to music on Lake Ontario’s shoreline. Located just inside the iconic Princes’ Gates, the urban resort will be home base when visiting cherished destinations, including a one-room cabin from the late 1870s; the Horse Palace, an Art Deco building opened in 1931 for equestrian events; and the famous Bandshell, built in 1936.
With a soaring tower, the cutting-edge property rises 30 stories above the waterfront and encompasses two buildings: the Main Tower and the Ten X Sports Club. The X also has a clean conscience; it is a Silver “Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design” (LEED) certified project.
The sleek lobby in the Main Tower is triple height and offers a fireplace, garden access, a bar and restaurant, and even a sleek Departure Lounge, where guests can print their boarding passes in peace. Four rooftop lounge areas will beckon guests for a beverage and a beautiful view, but they will also be inspired to stay in shape. The spacious Ten X Toronto Sports Club has workout machines, weights, yoga and Pilates studios, a spinning room, 10 squash courts, indoor tennis courts, a spa, an indoor golf simulator, and supervised children’s play and game area. The heated 50-foot pool on the 28th floor is embraced by windows that frame spectacular lake views.
The Hotel X Toronto is part of the exclusive Library Hotel Collection, which counts among its member the booklovers’ Library Hotel on 41st and Madison Avenue, and the Hotel Giraffe on 26th and Park Avenue South, both in New York City.
