“As someone who lives in the Palisades and has been affected by the fires, it’s hard to put into words the devastation we are witnessing,” Hunter shared. “My thoughts are with my own family, friends, and dear clients who have lost their homes. Now, it’s time to take action.”
The devastating wildfires in Los Angeles have displaced countless families, reducing their homes and cherished memories to ashes. LA CAN DO’s mission is to provide essential furnishings to displaced individuals, helping them recover with comfort, warmth, and dignity.
With LA CAN DO, Adam Hunter aims to rally the creative community and beyond to create meaningful change for families facing unimaginable loss. “This is about more than just replacing what was lost,” Hunter said. “It’s about helping people rebuild their lives and restore hope for the future.”
Hunter emphasizes that the smallest contributions can make the biggest difference: “We’re calling on designers, friends, and anyone with the ability to donate furniture, homewares, linens, and other essentials.”
