Showing for the third time as part of 3daysofdesign in Copenhagen, Canadian brand MAN OF PARTS returns with cross-cultural pieces from their growing roster of international designers, with a fresh exhibition dressed in Kieffer textiles at the historic Harsdorffs Hus.
To further emphasize the MAN OF PARTS ethos, the names of the latest novelties are carefully chosen to reflect global perspectives. The Frenchman Street chairs by Sebastian Herkner draw inspiration from the vibrant musical spirit of New Orleans, while the Via Bernina tables also by Sebastian Herkner evoke the stunning scenery of the iconic Bernina Express in the Swiss Alps. The Berliner Promenade rug is based on an artwork by German artist Gregor Hildebrandt showcasing a tactile waterscape where the promenade meets the Saar River.
In addition to new designs, the exhibition also highlights MAN OF PARTS’ latest partnership with Kieffer textiles, designed by Formafantasma and produced in the proximity of Lake Como at the Rubelli factory.
“We are thrilled to once again exhibit at 3daysofdesign,” shared Founder of MAN OF PARTS, Stephan Weishaupt. “True to our promise, the introductions represent a post-national perspective told through a series of material and creative stories.”
Born and raised in Munich, Stephan’s family — a long line of craftsmen, entrepreneurs, architects, and artists — informed his curiosity, creativity, and an openness to explore many points of view. Embodying a man of parts himself, Stephan travels the world in search of unique perspectives reflecting the lives of globally-minded people.
