Beyond the Kitchen: Inside Monogram’s Commitment To Tasteful Innovation

Truthfully, when most people think of kitchen appliances, they likely envision function-first fixings. A means to an end — something to get the job done — but an appliance that excels in both form and function? Not quite. However, to conventional wisdom’s surprise and delight, Monogram proves time and time again that appliances can have both style and substance.

As the most aspirational brand within the house of brands at GE Appliances, a Haier company, Monogram seeks to bring a well-appointed touch to the company’s uncompromising quality, craftsmanship, and technology.

“We specifically develop products for the [high-end] consumer with the fit and finish one would expect at this level of investment,” explains Julie Burns, executive director of Monogram. “[We adhere] to our core principles of selecting purposeful, enduring materials, delivering signature innovation to drive the optimal performance and providing an owner experience that is second to none.” After all, a range can have more than an induction surface, precise cooking modes, and even WiFi connectivity: It can also have sleek brass accents.”

Industry insiders were able to experience that convergence of form and function firsthand with Monogram Beyond, the brand’s experiential booth at the 2025 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show in Las Vegas. Designed by Richard Anuszkiewicz, Monogram’s creative director, the installation deftly showcased how the right appliances could help elevate the everyday.

“Monogram Beyond captures the essence of sophisticated design by reimagining how homeowners interact with appliances and the spaces around them,” Anuszkiewicz explains. “Our goal with this booth experience is to curate a plethora of unexpected use cases for appliances that not only add versatility and visual interest to any room but deliver the opulence of true upscale living.”

One of Burns’ favorite moments was the installation’s blush-tinged bathroom, which she says was an “unexpected design for Monogram to showcase spa-like amenities at home with refrigerator drawers for items such as skincare serums and sparking water.” Meanwhile, a dramatically paneled, library-inspired wine showcased the 24-inch Panel-Ready Wine Column, 24-inch Undercounter Wine Reserve, 24-inch Undercounter Beverage Center, as well as an integrated dishwasher.

But while Monogram Beyond highlighted new ways to integrate the brand’s bestsellers, it also introduced its new arrivals. Most notably, offerings from the Monogram Designer Collection, which were created in partnership with Anuszkiewicz. The new releases feature products such as the industry’s only 96-inch-tall refrigeration panels as well as 53-inch oversized ventilation hoods.

For a stylish touch, the offerings boast leather-wrapped handles inspired by fine jewelry in two finishes: titanium and brass. While titanium might be an unlikely metal to spot in a kitchen, Burns says this “allows more depth and richness to the traditional stainless steel.”

Monogram Beyond might’ve been an excellent showing of the brand’s integrations and inventory, but Burns believes it’s only the beginning for these posh appliances.

“It’s been a beautiful journey for Monogram since the re-staging of the brand a few years ago. As such, the brand continues to reimagine the world of high-end appliances with a forward-thinking design perspective that puts the designer and consumer at the center with intuitive innovation that delivers a seamless experience.”
