When Pollack Design Director Rachel Doriss made the move from her city apartment to a house in the country, the textile designer was so inspired by her new surroundings and lifestyle that an idea began to take shape, one that would push the Pollack aesthetic into a whole new realm, and a whole new category: residential. Together with Senior Designer Peyton North, Doriss created a new line of prints and embroideries that are modern and lively enough to satisfy devotees of Pollack’s contract textiles, but with a softer approach; one where the influence of nature and the hand of the artist are visible in every line and every hue. The resultant Spring Street by Pollack line exemplifies the expertise and global understanding of color, pattern, and construction for which the company is known, and welcomes that expertise into every room in the home. The inaugural Spring Street designs will be available beginning in September.

Fleet Stripe began as an experiment in small, varied brush strokes that then progressed into a medley of structured bands and watery dots and dashes that together form soft, relaxed bands of stripes.

Meadowland is a fantastical retelling of a field of rolling hills. The complex design of colorful, whimsical shapes filled with stitched dots, stripes, and dashes, uses a 14-color screen print and is all done by hand, including the embellishment of hand-guided embroidery.

Pomegranate offers a lush, updated take on a historic pattern. Taking its cue from a traditional hand-block print, the botanical theme—with its winding vines, florals, and, of course, pomegranates—is made modern with a rich and unique color palette.

A delicate flower springs to three-dimensional life in Posie. Embroidered on a linen ground, thick yarns add depth and interest to the simple, repeating floral motif.
