Gwen Donovan: How did Trim Tech Designs get its start?
Kelly Sopel: Sharing a passion for luxury craftsmanship and design, Bobby Hanson and I partnered together in 2007 to build Trim Tech Designs. With a vision to create unique and tailored solutions for our clients, we embarked on a journey to create one-of-a-kind cabinetry and design solutions. Over time we have grown our team and clientele. Just recently we doubled our woodshop and added automated services through our CNC (computerized numerical control) machine.

GD: Which aspects of your work do you enjoy most?
KS: It’s not just custom cabinetry and millwork, the ability to bring creativity to life is extremely rewarding. Being able to evolve with new trends, materials and techniques, all while finding innovative solutions to bring our client’s design dreams to life, that’s what it’s all about.
GD: What type of design services do you offer to your clients?
KS: Whether working with a builder, interior designer or on your own, the Trim Tech Designs team will provide customized cabinetry, millwork, furniture and design solutions to create a unique and luxurious aesthetic for your space. Every detail is accounted for and hand-crafted in our woodshop.

GD: Tell our readers about some of the projects you’re working on now:
KS: We are currently working on several bespoke cabinetry and millwork projects that exclude opulence and sophistication. From new construction homes to installing custom bathroom vanities, keep an eye on our social media platforms for upcoming projects that blend timeless elegance and modern luxury.
