After a two-year hiatus, the San Francisco Fall Show returns in person for its 40th anniversary. The “Ruby Jubilee” will take place from Thursday, October 13 through Sunday, October 16 at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture’s Festival Pavilion, with an Opening Night Gala benefiting the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco (FAMSF) on October 12.
“Rubies are thought to possess an inner flame, symbolizing passion, devotion and endurance,” the show touts. “How apt for the longest-running art, antiques and design fair on the West Coast, renowned and respected across the globe and a beloved and integral part of the San Francisco Bay Area’s art and design communities.” The Show will embrace all shades of glorious red, celebrated in cultures around the world for extraordinary energy, romantic love and good luck.

This 40th edition of the Show will feature about fifty dealers from around the world, offering for sale an extraordinary range of fine and decorative arts representing all styles and periods including American, English, Continental and Asian furniture and decorative objects, paintings, prints, photographs, books, gold, silver and precious metals, jewelry, rugs, textiles and ceramics. Dealers are invited to bring pieces from antiquity to present day. The Show also features a popular Lecture Series, Cocktail Hour Talks and other programs.

The Grand Entry Hall will feature four Designer Vignettes created by prominent designers and members of the Show’s Design Council, each incorporating pieces borrowed from Show Exhibitors as well as a wallcovering by Show sponsor de Gournay. The 2022 vignette designers are:
