The owner and architect, San Francisco’s Pfau Long Architecture thoughtfully considered every element and even enlisted the help of a rock whisperer to perfectly place the structure and connecting walkways that lead you to the pool and gardens. The result is a seamless transition between nature and the comforts of home.

The noted firm of Pfau Long Architecture based in San Francisco considers architecture both a practical science and an art form, and are known for their sustainable award-winning designs.

Showcasing a modern and eclectic style, indoor and outdoor living are perfectly integrated. With large open living spaces complete with a chef’s kitchen and floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that bring the outdoors in all year long, this wine country retreat is an entertainer’s dream. Throughout the home are hand-poured patina-polished concrete floors that impart a sleek feel, while interior and exterior wood details create a softer finish. The master suite has sweeping views of the countryside and a large lounging balcony complete with a fireplace.

This is an ideal place for entertaining guests, providing an ample amount of room for al fresco get-togethers amid the setting’s organic beauty. The property is a little over three acres and has everything from a vegetable garden to bocce courts and a waterfall. There are also two garden dining areas complete with grills and picnic tables. An exterior shower and Jacuzzi are set away from the pool in a private cove.
