Bonny Moon is a contemporary beach club and restaurant on Grand Cayman’s iconic Seven Mile Beach, located on the historic site of Calico Jack’s. Drawing on piracy folklore, Celtic heritage, and the rhythm of the moon, it reimagines a legendary gathering place into a soulful, design-led destination.
The aesthetic of the club channels 70s retro cool through a Celtic lens, inspired by Anne Bonny — the fierce pirate whose spirit infuses the brand. Her wild femininity and bohemian freedom shape a space deeply attuned to lunar energy. Vintage textures and celestial references nod to the night skies that once lit Calico Jack’s iconic full moon parties, creating a cosmic thread between past and present.

A Pantone palette of midnight and dawn blues, coconut white, sea grass greens and neon and sunrise oranges anchors the space in its Caribbean setting and nightly transformation.
Local artisan Janet Minzet, known for her exquisite handwoven grass fans, rattan mats, bespoke hats and candleholders, has further infused the space with authentic Cayman craftsmanship. Her work provides natural texture and tactile warmth to the space.


With a nod to the Tropics, Bonny Moon’s cuisine features fire-roasted dishes from a wood oven as well as locally inspired dishes that focus on pescatarian delights, along with fresh vegetables, fruits and greens sourced from the island.
Between their walk-up cafe, beachfront restaurant and beach bar, a strong emphasis on slow food practices is set, highlighting healthy, sea-inspired meals and regional traditions that are designed to be savored.
