ASPIRE Archetype Alyssa Urban Shares Her Favorite Vanities Of 2020

Capture the unabashed glamour of Old Hollywood when adding a chic vanity to your boudoir. These newly interpreted styles make everyone feel like a star as they get ready for their close-up. The hardest part? Deciding which is the fairest of them all.

For the ASPIRE DESIGN AND HOME spring 2020 issue, Alyssa Urban, design partner at Cullman & Kravis Associates Inc., shared with us her current favorite vanities.

“We like the styles of Maison Jansen and Jules Leleu since they have a timelessness to them,” says Urban. The clean, straightforward forms of Jansen’s pieces can work in both traditional and modern settings. Similarly, Leleu’s pieces have a simple elegance that elevates their surroundings, regardless of period.”

Helena Desk | Bungalow 5
“The burl oak combined with brass accents gives this vanity a slightly glamorous, Hollywood Regency feel. The two drawers make it very functional as well.”

Argento Vanity Desk | Global Views
“The slim frame, tapered legs and tasseled knobs give this table a very tailored and elegant feel.”

Pierre Desk | Made Goods
“The curved waterfall top of this desk softens the white washed oak, so that the otherwise rustic material feels refined and chic. Plus, the use of shagreen adds to the upscale and contemporary feel of the table.”

Delphine Desk | Jonathan Adler
“This vanity has a great reflective quality – it’s perfect for a space that needs more light. The brass details add a touch of glamour.”
