Last year, Artemest opened the doors to its first showhouse, L’Appartamento, at Milan Design Week showcasing brilliant Italian design in a 1930s Milanese apartment. This year the brand is back with an all new edition. Artemest enlisted six design studios, Elicyon, GACHOT, Rottet Studio, Studio Meshary AlNassar, Tamara Feldman Design, and VSHD Design, to transform the showhouse using exclusively Artemest furniture, lighting, décor, and art by the finest Italian artisans, brands and artists. L’Appartamento will be open to the public from April 16 through April 21.
Nestled within Milan’s vibrant 5Vie district, this year L’Appartamento by Artemest unfolds at Residenza Vignale, in Via Enrico Toti 2, a distinctive Milanese residence built in 1905-1907. Steeped in history and architectural splendor, the mansion was built as the home of an Austrian prince who wished to reside in Milan driven by love. The romantic allure of the mansion serves as inspiration for the participating interior design studios, each tasked with transforming a designated room into a bespoke masterpiece.
Visitors will be greeted by a sumptuous entrance designed by Studio Meshary AlNassar, then journey through uniquely designed spaces, including an elegant cocktail room by Elicyon, a romantic dining room by VSHD Design, a grand living space by Rottet Studio, a luxurious bedroom by Tamara Feldman Design, and to conclude a surprising courtyard designed by GACHOT.
