ASPIRE DESIGN AND HOME magazine, in partnership with Artisan Builders and Harrison Design, is thrilled to announce the talent who will design the interiors of the inaugural ASPIRE HOUSE: McLean.
The designer showhouse will open with a Virtual Gala on August 21st, and remain open to the public from August 22nd through September 7th, 2020. The event will raise funds to benefit first responders of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“The mission of each ASPIRE HOUSE is to inspire and connect both design enthusiasts and doyens while supporting a meaningful cause,” says ASPIRE DESIGN AND HOME Editor in Chief, Amy Sneider. “Working with ASPIRE HOUSE: McLean Design Chair, Mary Douglas Drysdale, we have invited renowned regional, national, and even international talent along with rising stars to realize an exciting fusion of styles and imaginations. The home itself is an innovative marriage of classical Monticello elements and cutting-edge materials and techniques, making the show house an immersive and dynamic design experience. We are truly grateful to these designers for dedicating their time and talent to help raise funds for our doctors and nurses on the frontlines.”
The following 33 designers, from Washington, DC to Toronto, Canada, will infuse their unique signature styles into the 9,600 square foot residence:
“As Design Chair of ASPIRE HOUSE: McLean 2020, I have had the enormous privilege of working with many of the talented creatives whose submissions and design work were selected to complete the interiors of this remarkable house,” says Mary Douglas Drysdale. “The final show house will be exceptional and I am thrilled to be involved.”
