Nothing brings the design community together like a showhouse. And while our events looked different this year in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, the community persevered and created an abundance of world-class design destinations in support of some very worthy causes.
We know that many were not able to actually view the houses in person this past year, and that’s why we’ve created this tribute issue devoted to the remarkable people who created these remarkable places.

On The Cover: The Master Bedroom in Aspire House McLean was designed by Mary Douglas Drysdale with the idea of quiet luxury for an art-collecting couple wanting to focus on artistic expression from every view and perspective.
