Cassina Pays Tribute To Pierre Jeanneret

From Cassina | Chandigarh, the Indian city designed by Le Corbusier in the 1950s, represented a unique opportunity to test his architectural and urban theories with a group of Indian architects and his cousin Pierre Jeanneret – a key figure in the construction of the city and considered the author of a great part of its furniture.

In accordance with the heirs of Pierre Jeanneret, Cassina, always committed to studying the works of the great architects, pays homage to these masterpieces with a complete collection of furniture for the home.

The Capitol Complex Armchair (pictured above), part of the newly launched Cassina Pro Collection, has also been certified for professional use becoming the perfect proposal for the hospitality sector and workplace as well.

The Hommage à Pierre Jeanneret collection, faithfully produced in the Cassina carpentry workshop, includes the Capitol Complex Office Chair, the Capitol Complex Chair, the Capitol Complex Table, the Capitol Complex Armchair, the Civil Bench and the Kangaroo armchair.

Each piece, characterized by prestigious wood and Viennese cane workmanship, is made to last a lifetime and rigorous monitoring is implemented at every stage of the production process to ensure high-quality workmanship and excellence.
