This year, Courtney has joined the ranks as a 2019 High Point Market Style Spotter. After scouring the largest furnishing and home design market in the world, here are ten new products that stood out to Courtney, and are sure to define design in the coming months.

S. Harris Nouveau Strie Velvet Fabric | Fabricut

“Like nothing I have seen before! Nouveau Strie Velvet is a stunning cut velvet epingle inspired by Klimt’s geometric floral designs. This art nouveau influenced fabric is at once elegant and playful, lending itself to so many design possibilities.”

Aria Chair | Rawan Isaac

“Dramatic and style-defining bases stole the show this High Point market. The Aria chair from the debut collection of designer Rawan Isaac was a standout – its triangular steel base finished in brass felt really new and fresh.”

Nexus Dining Table | Bernhardt

“Bernhardt’s Nexus dining table features a weighty conical base paired with a round top inlaid with an intricate geometric pattern – the fact that it is an indoor/outdoor piece is the icing on the cake!”

Sculptural Candle Flower Collection | Patrick Coard Paris

“The Flower Collection by Patrick Coard as seen at Kifu Paris takes candles to luxurious new heights – the sensuous curves of the candle wax mimics the texture of shagreen paired with brass accents.”

Florence Broadhurst Japanese Floral Rug | Brink & Campman

“Featuring the iconic Japanese Floral motif designed by Florence Broadhurst, the over-sized scale of the print proves particularly alluring.”

Bauer Bar Cabinet | Bobby Berk For A.R.T. Furniture

“I love all things cane – and this piece showcases it beautifully with an updated blend of early 20th century Viennese design and midcentury styling.”

Lille Sofa | Julian Chichester

“A Provencal inspired piece, the Lille sofa makes a bold and feminine statement. The beautifully proportioned curves of the bleached oak frame are particularly fetching.”

Dish Chandelier | Denise McGaha For Currey & Company

“This jewelry-inspired chandelier is playfully elegant. The frosted glass and gold leaf finish are an unusual and decidedly chic combination.”

Flint Containers | Frank Ponterio For Arteriors

“I love the story behind these intricately detailed pieces – designer Frank Ponterio found inspiration from a tattoo to create the design motif hand-carved on bronze ceramic. Inspiration truly is everywhere!”

Strawberry Thief Steamer Console Table | Selamat

“This delightful little desk makes me smile every time. It features British heritage brand Morris & Co.’s most famous design, Strawberry Thief – a long-time personal favorite. The delicate proportions, beautiful pattern and brass accents are a perfect combination.”
