A natural sanctuary located waterfront on Brooklyn Bridge Park, 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge stands right beside the East River and 5 blocks west of the Brooklyn Bridge Promenade. Among one of the first U.S. hotels to receive the prestigious MICHELIN Key distinction, this 10-story building includes an outdoor rooftop bar and lounge, Harriet’s, The Osprey, a market-driven farm-to-table restaurant located on the ground floor, and a grab-and-go café with a menu of locally sourced and fresh fare.

Jonathan Marvel, founding principal of Marvel and Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, is a Puerto Rico–born architect and urban designer with over 30 years of experience. He has led award-winning projects across housing, public spaces, and cultural institutions. Jonathan co-founded Resilient Power Puerto Rico, speaks nationally on design and resilience, and serves on the Buckminster Fuller Institute board. He also teaches at Pratt and has held adjunct roles at Columbia, Harvard, and other top universities.
