Casa Loma Beach Hotel, nestled on a cliff above Laguna Beach’s main beach, offers a serene coastal retreat. Formerly The Inn at Laguna Beach, it underwent a $15 million renovation completed in Summer 2024, enhancing its 70 guest rooms and public spaces with Mediterranean-inspired design and organic textures that reflect the surrounding landscape.
Guests can enjoy panoramic ocean views from rooms, the pool area, or the Pacific Terrace rooftop bar. The hotel is within walking distance of art galleries, shops and restaurants, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the local culture.
Amenities include a beachfront pool with cabanas, Cecilia’s restaurant offering Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, and nightly treats from local bakery Rye Goods. While lacking a full-service spa or gym, Casa Loma provides a tranquil atmosphere ideal for relaxation and exploration.
Electric Bowery is a multidisciplinary design studio based in Venice, California, founded in 2013 by Lucia Bartholomew and Cayley Lambur. Emerging from their previous firm, Scott Morris Architects Ltd., the studio rebranded to Electric Bowery in 2016. With a focus on architecture, interiors, and development, they collaborate closely with clients to create spaces that blend innovative design with everyday life. Their portfolio includes residential, commercial, and hospitality projects across the U.S., such as the Silver Lake Pool & Inn in Los Angeles and Casa Cody in Palm Springs. Electric Bowery emphasizes a holistic approach, designing spaces that support well-being and seamlessly integrate work, life, and leisure.
