Downtown Scottsdale, Arizona is now home to eggersmann’s newest showroom, giving this German design powerhouse a vibrant new presence in the American Southwest. eggersmann Studio Scottsdale presents about 3,000 square-feet of exceptional displays for kitchens, living and media rooms, and expansive wardrobes fitted with extravagant built-ins (a flip-down bar with wine fridge, anyone?). Located in Scottsdale’s Old Town, a charming and culture-packed design section, the showroom welcomes homeowners, architects, designers and builders.
Showroom owner Brent Hugus says the neighborhood has a perfect vibe for eggersmann’s new space, “Old Town is a cool design community with a lot of character near Fashion Square, a high-end designer mall.” The showroom hosts Lunch and Learn events for the design community, small dinner receptions and other intimate get-togethers for clients. “We saw an opportunity in the Scottsdale-Phoenix market to expand the eggersmann brand and we’re excited to be here,” Hugus added. “We’ve gotten positive feedback from architects and designers.”
A bold, contemporary product line from eggersmann includes luxury kitchens, custom closets, home living systems and bespoke furniture. Visitors to the studio can touch, feel and see it all in the showroom’s:
- Three chef-worthy kitchens
- TV-walled living space
- Conference/TV work presentation area
- Loft living-working display with Murphy bed
- Walk-in wardrobe fitted with opulent appointments
The divergent products share a common thread in their sleek, simplistic lines and ultra-luxe finishes. Whether seeking traditional, transitional, innovative or industrial, each singular design element synergizes into a visually seamless mode to make the most of interior spaces. This is illustrated in the MOTION retractable kitchen counter, Miele built-in coffee machine concealed behind sliding cabinet doors, peek-a-boo TVs and cleverly-designed wardrobes.
Consider this your virtual studio tour, starting in a stylish kitchen vignette. The eggersmann team in Scottsdale used a visionary mix of textures in one of their three sublime kitchen displays; it combines the deep matte surface of Vetro Satinato, icy matte white Valencia and core ash anthracite brushed finishes with an artistic flourish. The kitchen island is crafted in Macau pearl white with a Caesarstone rugged concrete backsplash and back countertop. Let’s just say this is not the kitchen you grew up in.
Put your feet up in the showroom’s home living display featuring cabinetry embellished with fabric, bronze Satinato glass panels and eucalyptus drawers. This on-trend look is imbued with warmth while providing places to stash electronics, games, blankets and all the other essentials for a comfortable life.
An office set-up presents eye-catching metallic gloss and black finishes. The floor-to-ceiling room divider wraps around front base cabinets to offer a sense of separation while open squares display books, favorite objects and artwork.
In the TV presentation area, a tall barrel oak cabinet is surrounded by custom matte black lacquer panels and a tightly-framed television. The showroom’s mezzanine focuses on living efficiently: a new-fashioned Murphy bed, an upholstered desk chair, and airy wire-framed side chairs make the most of space-deprived rooms.
Moving onto the bedroom, superior storage solutions elevate the everyday. Signature luxury closet features include items like a metal-frame island, glass-top jewelry storage display cases wrapped in leather, glass-front cabinetry, sunglass holders, a hidden safe, hideaway hamper drawer with quilted laundry bag, tufted bench, make-up counter with leather wrapped mirror, integrated LED lighting and pull-out shoe shelves, all concealed behind a smoked glass pocket door. And yes, a flip-down bar with wine fridge is always an option. Cheers!
