MOXIE Grasscloth – French Fry Potato

Susan Jamieson, founder of Bridget Beari Designs—and its exclusive line of stylish paints and papers—is now producing her original wallpaper patterns on a silver metallic grasscloth background, in addition to the traditional rolls. And clients like what they see when the paper goes up.

BUSCEMI Grasscloth – Nobu

“We’ve done the Buscemi grasscloth in a powder room and a foyer, and the Moxie pattern on a ceiling. They’re very versatile for different rooms,” she notes. “Grasscloth gives a softer, more elegant look.”

A way to add texture to walls, the palette options range from blush to charcoal, and all coordinate with shades in the Bridget Beari Colors paint line.

One caveat: “Our grasscloth is not intended for wet areas,” says Jamieson. (The delicate paper cannot be cleaned with water.) When her team did hang it in a bathroom, a special water protection sealer was applied to the paper after printing. Look for the grasscloth wallpaper at Bradley USA in New York, Chicago and Atlanta.
