High Point Market Announces Strategic Partnership with Fashion Snoops

 The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) has partnered with trend forecasting agency Fashion Snoops to create an ongoing strategic alliance between the two. This formal relationship will provide High Point Market attendees and followers with year-round access to vital trend resources from the world-renowned experts at Fashion Snoops. 

This partnership solidifies Fashion Snoops as the official Trend and Forecasting Agency for High Point Market, and creates exclusive access to Fashion Snoops trend insights through High Point Market’s digital platforms. Curated content will be shared on an ongoing basis via the High Point Market website,www.highpointmarket.org, and through Market’s social media channels. 

“We are thrilled to formalize our partnership with Fashion Snoops and be able to share exclusive, in-depth trend insights with High Point Market attendees and followers,” commented Tom Conley, president and CEO of the High Point Market Authority. “Their cultural and home trend expertise will allow our attendees to further develop their understanding of upcoming trends, which will give them a real competitive edge.” 

Fashion Snoops co-founders Lilly Berelovich and Itay Arad simply stated, “We couldn’t be happier than to align ourselves long-term with the world’s largest home furnishings trade show. We are proud to support the Market Authority’s commitment to empower its attendees and followers and support them through such a valuable resource.”

Fashion Snoops will also have an on-site presence at Market every April and October through programming such as seminars, trend guides and demonstrations. The partnership will kick-off with a Fashion Snoops activation in High Point Market’s new space, The Point. 

The Fashion Snoops’ Innovation Square at The Point will celebrate innovation in design with unique activations and demonstrations daily from 11 am to 2 pm, beginning on Sat., Apr. 14, through Tues., Apr. 17. Technology experts, artists and makers featured will include augmented reality specialists Obsess AR, artist and designer Aviva Stanoff, the makers of Norwalk Furniture, and The Trim Queen, Jana Platina Phipps.

Also at The Point, Fashion Snoops’ Home Interiors Director, Jaye Anna Mize, will lead a roundtable discussion on Sun., Apr. 15, from 10 am – 11 am focusing on macro and micro trends that will influence the home furnishings industry into and through 2019. 

“The home furnishings sector is learning how to embrace and make use of trend forecasting information,” commented Mize. “It is no longer a guessing game; our research tracks consumer behavior and cultural trends and our analysis connects the dots from cultural influence to product innovation.”
