‘Homeland’ Actor Hill Harper Buys Charles T. Fisher Mansion

First, it was a small coffee shop that brought award-winning actor Hill Harper back to his mid-west roots when he purchased downtown Detroit’s Roasting Plant Coffee in early 2017. More recently, Harper made a bigger investment in the Detroit community with the purchase of the landmark Charles T. Fisher Mansion, the largest home in the Historic Boston-Edison District of Detroit, Michigan.

Harper is originally from Iowa, but fell in love with Detroit as an adult. “Having lived here filming two movies in Detroit over the past four years, I’ve come to love this city and its people. I believe in Detroit. It is truly a vibrant, unique and great American city,” says Harper, and he has put his money where his heart is.

Following up on his passion for community involvement, The Junior League of Detroit announced that Hill’s home will be the location of the league’s 2018 Designers’ Show House. (Learn More Here) LINK
