High Point Market Authority Releases the High Point Market Style Report for Winter/Spring 2019

The High Point Market Authority (HPMA) has released this season’s much anticipated High Point Market Style Report for Winter/Spring 2019.

The 34-page report was developed by eight home fashion gurus, all part of the HPMA’s 2018 Style Spotters team, who scoured the Fall High Point Market (October 13-17) for the hottest must-have items and then translated their picks into today’s top trends for the report. Trends range from “Cosmic Craze” to “Laid Back Elegance” and from “Wicker Wonderland” to “Playful Geometry”. All trends in the Style Report for Winter/Spring 2019 may be found and downloaded at http://www.highpointmarket.org/products-and-trends/winter-spring-2019-style-report.

“Each Style Spotter has their own look or vibe that they bring to their respective client’s homes,” commented Style Spotter Emeritus and alumnus of the 2013 team, Michelle Jennings Wiebe, in her intro for the report. “At Market they obviously gravitate toward items that speak to their individual point of view… I hope you will enjoy a glimpse into each of their design souls.”

Style Spotters who contributed to the Style Report for Winter/Spring 2019 include:

  • Michelle Jennings Wiebe, ASID, Studio M
  • Michel Smith Boyd, Smith Boyd Interiors
  • Mary Douglas Drysdale, Drysdale, Inc.
  • Stacy Garcia, Stacy Garcia Inc.
  • Bria Hammel, Bria Hammel Interiors
  • Jeffrey Johnson, Jeffrey Design LLC
  • Justine Macfee, Catherine Macfee, Inc.
  • Holly Hollingsworth Phillips, The English Room
  • Sarah Walker, The Curated House by Sarah Walker

The Style Spotters program, launched during the October 2011 Market, features home fashion pace setters that showcase their favorite products and top trends from High Point Market exhibitors via Pinterest, the at-Market Style Spotters LIVE! event, the Style Report and various media interviews.

Each Style Spotters team serves for two Markets over a calendar year. When they source a treasure at Market, they present exhibitors with a sign that highlights the Style Spotter’s name with a QR code and URL for the High Point Market Pinterest board. The Fall 2018 Pinterest boards can be found at www.pinterest.com/stylespottersfa18/.

The 2018 Style Spotters program is sponsored by Crypton, Inc., a leading provider of high-performance fabrics and Sherwin-Williams, the nation’s largest specialty retailer of paint and painting supplies.
