John Weinstein has been in the plumbing/kitchen & bath industry for almost 30 years, working with brands on distribution and helping them grow their sales channels in North America. For the past four years, John has served as the director of Franz Viegener, the high-end faucet and fixture brand whose precision-machined faucets are a favorite of architects and designers.
In April of 2020, the weather near John’s family home in Philadelphia abruptly shifted from sunny and calm to a violent wind storm with 70-mph gusts uprooting a large pine tree that fell directly onto his house. No one was injured, however, his bathroom was destroyed. As John began sourcing products to renovate his bathroom, all of his contacts in the industry offered to help him by supplying the products he’d need at no charge. The project became known as the #phillybathroomproject and after nearly seven months, the project has been completed thanks to the generosity of so many.
