Maison Sarah Lavoine

Up until 1957, the building housed one of the oldest locksmiths in the neighborhood.

Maison Sarah Lavoine’s new showroom at the heart of Paris’ smart 16th arrondissement is full of history.

A slightly hidden door invites visitors into a delightful courtyard. Magic is at work in this unusual setting. Within the 1,500-square-foot brick and glass haven, the Maison Sarah Lavoine collections are displayed with a perfect mix of industry and elegance. “Craftsmanship is at the heart of the work of Maison Sarah Lavoine, so embracing the history of this space was an obvious move for us. All the period structure has been preserved, along with the original beams and workbenches, ensuring that the energy of the site is kept intact,” comments Lavoine. Bathed in sunlight during the day, this unique workshop houses the entire home environment from bedroom to living room.

Maison Sarah Lavoine’s first stateside showroom, in partnership with Ressource, opened this past May at New York’s D&D Building.
