Igne Ferro USA is the preferred purveyor for the best in direct-vent gas fireplaces manufactured by Ortal, a leader in the advancement of linear and traditional style gas fireplaces around the world. Scott Robertson, CEO of Igne Ferro said: “New York City is one of the design capitals of the world, and yet it was surprising to us that there was no outlet for high-end fireplaces here”. Igne Ferro also manufactures a line of custom handcrafted marble and stone fireplace mantels in a variety of styles, all fabricated to order. In addition, Igne Ferro is the exclusive New York source for the latest innovative line of residential kitchen appliances by California manufacturer Hestan. The new showroom will also feature colorfully hand printed pillows by fashion designer Marisol Deluna and artwork by Nathaniel Galka.

John Lyle Design has been a renowned source of made-to-order furniture, lighting, and fireplace equipment for over 30 years. Founder John Lyle’s sculptural pieces are crafted from voluptuous materials such as hand-cast bronze, steel, wood, shagreen, and parchment, and are much coveted and specified by interior designers worldwide. This will be his first solo showroom after several decades of being carried by Holly Hunt. Asked about this new undertaking, Lyle states that “I am thrilled with this new collaboration, it has already given me the inspiration to produce many new beautiful creations. I am here for the love of furnishings as art.”

Both John Lyle Design and Igne Ferro exemplify a clean, sleek, sophisticated approach to design. This common emphasis on understated elegance makes the two companies a natural fit for this new partnership.
