Top designer Niv Ben-Adi shared his most-coveted personal treasure with ASPIRE DESIGN AND HOME.
A cold winter day brings me back to a small but powerful Buddha sculpture that we brought back from Bangkok about 20 years ago. The sculpture is carved from dark teak wood and very smooth to touch. We placed it over a prewar cast-iron radiator, covered with a thick stone slab, next to a window. Winter months bring special crisp sunlight, and when that light is cast on our sculpture and projected onto a tomato red wall, it brings a serene, rich color and scented space one experiences in Bangkok.
