The newly constructed Park Avenue Green (aka Morris II Apartments) is a mixed-income complex in the South Bronx, and it’s officially North America’s largest affordable Passive House.

Developed by Omni New York, the 15-story building, located at 2980 Park Avenue, provides low-income housing to the Melrose neighborhood, which boasts over 150 units for tenants (46 of which are reserved for formerly homeless tenants as part of NYC’s Our Space program). The ground floor also features a 4,300-square-foot community facility that provides affordable studio and gallery space for local artists, operated by the NYC-based non-profit Spaceworks.
