Special Piece: A copper claw foot tub for the master ensuite bathroom
Why is it Interesting: The finishes – the Mojave blue porcelain and the Covelano oro marble – are the same in both bathrooms but switched around. So, the wall material in the master bath is the floor material in the guest bath, and the floor material in the master bath is the wall material in the guest bath. The result is two totally different looks, the large master bath has an old world look and feels more intimate, whereas the small guest bath has a more modern look and feels more expansive.
Also to Note: The kitchen countertop and backsplash is a stone from Brazil called Fusion Wow. Ironically, after searching for the stone in NY, the 2 breathtaking slabs were found (at UMI Stone) in Naples Florida, a 5-minute drive from the client’s primary residence.
This sun-drenched two-bedroom apartment is located in Millennium Tower Residences, a LEED-Certified Green Building – one of south Battery Parks most sought-after high-rise buildings in the neighborhood. Situated on the Hudson River, this lively urban place boasts unbeatable views of all of New York Harbor paired with a scenic cityscape.
