Tokio’s Carbon Lighting Is Making A Statement In The States

Founded in 2011 by Gorazd Malačič, contemporary furniture and lighting company Tokio produces products that are designed with Japanese-inspired refinement, simplicity, detail and high-end technology. The result is a futuristic take on smart home objects that blend form and function, perhaps best represented by their Carbon Lights.

Carbon Light is a high-performing modular suspension light made using the latest LED technology. A feather-light carbon fiber body links highly efficient power LED spots. With an adaptable design and multiple LED spot options, Carbon Light allows you to create the optimum levels of illumination for any surface.

Pictured here, a custom white Carbon Light CARB26, was created for this East Hampton, NY home designed by Audrey Matlock Architect.
