From emerging talent to innovative materials and resilient living, WestEdge Design Fair returns to Santa Monica with a fresh perspective on the future of design.
California has long been a creative force in the design world, where innovation, craftsmanship, and an appreciation for indoor and outdoor living converge. From October 29 through 31, WestEdge Design Fair returns to Santa Monica’s Barker Hangar for its 11th edition, bringing together more than 150 established brands, independent makers, and emerging talents.
WestEdge offers a glimpse into the ideas shaping how Californians live, with a particular emphasis this year on creativity, community, and resilience.
“California has always been a place where design pushes boundaries,” says Megan Reilly of WestEdge Design Fair. “This year’s fair brings together fresh creative voices, innovative products, and meaningful conversations about how we design and live, particularly as our community looks toward a more resilient future.”

A New Generation of California Design
One of this year’s highlights is Rising Design, an initiative spotlighting six emerging Southern California designers. Each will present a dedicated exhibition space, supported by mentorship from designer Julee Ireland. The program culminates in a live reveal at WestEdge, celebrating the next generation of creative talent.

Designing for a More Resilient Future
In response to the devastating Los Angeles wildfires, WestEdge introduces the ReBuild Connect Zone in partnership with Team Palisades. The initiative brings together resources, expertise, and innovative building solutions to help homeowners and design professionals navigate rebuilding with an emphasis on durability, safety, and sustainability.

Innovation Meets Everyday Living
Throughout the fair, visitors will discover new approaches to kitchens, architectural materials, furnishings, and indoor and outdoor spaces.
Among the innovations are Zephyr’s battery-assisted induction technology, designed to deliver high-performance cooking using a standard electrical outlet, and Bertazzoni’s North American unveiling of its Professional Series Combination Wall Oven.
Together with independent makers and international brands, these introductions reflect a growing desire for homes that are as functional and adaptable as they are beautiful.
As California continues to influence the broader design conversation, WestEdge remains a gathering place for the people, products, and ideas moving the industry forward.
WestEdge Design Fair takes place October 29 through 31, 2026, at Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California.
