Andrew Joseph: What’s a guilty pleasure you have?
Sherrell Neal: I love a juicy cheeseburger and fries and a Pepsi with a lime squeeze.

AJ: What would you like to be remembered for?
SN: Being kind! It’s important for me to always lead with kindness, and I hope I leave that impression on everyone I encounter.

In the bedroom, the neoclassical theme continues– however a more warming color palette is applied. Goldenrod-colored, block printed pillows and upholstery are accented by the sage green door and natural wood tones.

AJ: What would your dream project or dream client be right now?
SN: A bed and breakfast in the American South has been a dream project for many years! I enjoy a home-away-from-home experience and I’m always captivated by the quality of an experience down to every thoughtful detail.

AJ: Favorite piece of clothing you own?
SN: This would definitely be my growing Rothy’s shoe collection. It’s like wearing a well-tailored cotton t-shirt on your feet. And I’m on my feet every day, sometimes for hours. Comfort is key!

AJ: If you had one more hour in the day what would you do with it?
SN: Hands down: sleep.

AJ: What’s inspiring you in life (in the industry) right now?
SN: My clients are inspiring me these days. Learning about their interests and what they value most since the pandemic certainly has influenced my design inspiration and what I specify in every project.
