Evars Collective Opens The First Designer Showroom On The San Francisco Peninsula

Evars Collective has officially opened its doors as the first trade-only showroom on the San Francisco Peninsula; connecting Bay Area designers with custom furniture, furnishings, globally curated art and accessories and designer textiles available for direct purchase.

The 1,900-square-foot showroom is an inspiring, dynamic space that features six different shoppable vignettes. Each vignette has its own style elements and houses different upholstery pieces and custom tables designed by Evars Collective, hand crafted items by local artisans, custom rugs, textiles, new and vintage accent furniture and accessories, and artwork curated by the Evars Collective team.

“As a designer in the San Francisco Bay Area for the past 15 years, I have personally experienced how few resources there are for the design community south of San Francisco,” shares Nancy Evars, founder and CEO of Evars Collective. “After spending this past fall speaking with several other Peninsula-based colleagues, the idea for Evars Collective was born to solve that problem.”

Upon entering the space, the front window highlights the living room vignette, featuring Serena Dugan Studio wallpaper, a private label wool and hide rug and two pairs of custom swivel chairs from the Evars Collective furniture line. The California Casual family room area has a neutral color palette with walls adorned in Elworthy Studio wallpaper and a gallery wall featuring local photographers and artists. The Library vignette is tucked in under the Style Lab loft and houses a 20 foot custom built-in bookcase with Urban Electric Co. brass sconces and newly designed brass pulls from local designer, Hoffman Hardware. In the Textile room you will find six artisanal textile and wallpaper lines, including local lines from Serena Dugan Studio, Elworthy Studio, and C.W. Stockwell; as well as Marika Meyer Textiles from DC, Milton Textiles from New York, and Electra Eggleston from Nashville. Evars Collective is also introducing its own textile collection featuring more than 80 solid textiles in velvet, linen and performance fabrics.

Other elements of the Evars Collective showroom include The Champagne Bar and The Style Lab. The Champagne Bar is a nine-foot-long custom bar featuring a Calacatta Viola marble slab on top of an oxblood red lacquered fluted base with a satin brass foot rail. The Bubbles Bar vignette features an oversized arched antique mirror and the iconic C.W. Stockwell Martinique pattern in pink on both wallpaper and fabric covered bar stools. The Champagne Bar was imagined as a space created for designers to gather, work and meet clients while enjoying a glass of champagne from local winery, Comartin Cellars. The Style Lab is housed in the loft of the showroom and will be a space for the Evars Collective team to create and share lifestyle, fashion and design inspirations.

Throughout the space, designers will be able to experience and shop from The Furniture, a 53-piece custom furniture line — including upholstery pieces handcrafted in Southern California and tables designed by the team at Evars Collective and made by workrooms local to the SF Bay Area.

Committed to offering a new showroom experience with personalized attention and dedicated account managers, the expert team at Evars Collective will be offering their unique design approach to help designers cultivate and grow their businesses. To that end, Evars Collective will be launching The Club at The Collective, an annual membership for local designers to network and foster community. Set to launch later this year, The Club will provide support for both new and established designers alike through styling services, best practice programming and mentorship. Members will be able to attend exclusive events at the showroom, including workshops, book signings, wine tastings, and more.
