For the ASPIRE DESIGN AND HOME fall issue ceramicist Coralla Maiuri joined us to discuss her tableware, artistic background, and what ceramic work means to her. This holiday season, our Editor in Chief, Amy Sneider, is feeling inspired by Coralla’s work to ditch the traditional tablescape colors and embrace a dining room table design imbued with friendly pinks and pastels. Click here to read our interview with Coralla, and check out her all-new Berry tableware collection below.
Collection: Piazza del Popolo, Berry | Introduced in April 2019, Milan. The unique golden crackled rim emphasizes the elegant white with the brilliant pink décor at the center or alternatively the unique full-plate décor with the light pink center. “The crackled edges are real gold. Before cooking, they have the color of honey and are spread with a brush,” says Maiuri. “I do not have the confidence of the wise craftsman who has always done this, and this is the formula that accompanies me: Guess, stutter, search.” The dessert plates come in a variety of colors, patterns and an alternative, drop edge golden rim.
